While you are connected with one specific student, your sponsorship donations are pooled for maximum effectiveness. This means that your gift is not being delivered directly to your student, but instead is given to support the organization’s overall expenses, including your student and their community.
You are joining forces with other sponsors to fund long-term community development programs that benefit your sponsored student and their community so they can become self-sufficient and thrive.
Sponsors are welcome to send financial gifts for special occasions.
You may send your student a financial gift for Christmas, graduation, and/or their birthday. A gift up to $20 is accepted per occasion (Ex: you may send your student $40 to celebrate their birthday and Christmas). These gifts are given directly to your student.
Note: You may submit your student contribution and a special occasion gift at the same time by selecting "Other Amount" when making your gift. Please fill in the "note" section to specify the designation.
