Daysi has a third grade education. When it came time to begin 4th grade, her mother needed her help working so she could help provide for their family.

Daysi always dreamed of going back to school and becoming a doctor, but she never saw that dream realized. After facing health problems and financial difficulties as an adult, she began to feel very discouraged.

Our team recently began distributing Bibles in her community and holding times of devotion. Daysi was taught how to read her Bible and she was overjoyed to have the word of God in her heart!

She wants to continue getting to know God better. She has started attending church, and she has experienced the beauty of being united in community. We’re ecstatic to see the hope that God has provided her with!
